May 2010 elections

Hey guys,

   LET'S GET SERIOUS!! The elections are near now, and the older people who can vote, NEED to vote wisely. Because if they don't, our country, the Philippines, will be under *I don't know which word to use..* umm.. horrible ruling of a horrible president if we don't vote wisely. My relatives usually have a debate of who is a better president to rule our country. (They only debate about the president because they agree about the vice-president). Anyway, her's how it went....

       Mom, Dad and Someone else: Noynoy Aquino is better because he is smart and we all trust him so he should be the president.

    Uncle, Auntie and other Auntie: No, Gilbert Teodoro is better because he makes decisions on his own, unlike Noynoy, surrounded by the civil society.

   Cousin younger than me: Wrong!! Manny Villar should be president! He is good looking!! 

To be honest, it doesn't matter how many vote for one person in a family, or how popular or how rich a candidate is, what matters is how he/she can affect our country, and what he/she can do for our country. So tip: Don't rely on words or promises, you have to make sure that that particular candidate turns his/her words in to actions.
